I sketched a few Adventure Time versions of characters from The Last Unicorn, here is the first one that I have finished so far! I scanned it, and then used GIMP to ink and color it. More of this crossover to come!

The Last Unicorn is an awesome movie. It's the only unicorn movie I know of with awesome action and violence.

Thank you!! :D I draw the outline using the pen tool on a layer that is separate from the color and the original sketch. I use the program Gimp, but I think its the same if you use Photoshop. :)

I use gimp too. So you use a pen tool? What is it that you stroke it with? I've tried like 2px but it still looks really bad. XD

I think that for this one, I used the pen tool on 2 px. The image started out much larger so that I could go in and fix the details with the eraser or brush a lot easier. Then I used Scale Image to make it smaller. I think it started out a little less than double the size it is now. I also used Gaussian Blur (Horizontal and Vertical both set to 1 px) so that the outline wouldn't look so harsh, but I can't remember if I did this before or after resizing. Hope that helps! ^_^
